Residential / Kungsholmen, Stockholm
In the middle of central Kungsholmen, liljewall has designed a tall residential tower with a roof terrace for Gillöga, with MVB as the general contractor. Here you will find everything from well-planned one-room apartments on the lower floors to large representative four-room apartments at the top.

The tower that grows inside
Gångaren residential tower comprises 77 apartments with a roof terrace, two basement floors, ground floor premises and an underground garage. Here, the focus has been to find housing solutions for different needs. The building consists of five different floor plans where the apartments become larger the higher up. At the very top we find duplex apartments with very generous living areas.
Another goal has been to maximize the window area in each apartment. Windows go from floor to ceiling and the floor plan has been designed to have a direct view outwards from the vestibule door. Many residential towers today only have ventilation hatches, but in Gångaren all rooms have at least one openable window. Several of the apartments have a cut-out balcony with a glass railing to provide as much view as possible. The roof terrace at the top is accessible to all residents.
